Dear Windermere Community
Today, Dr. Bonnie Henry announced that visiting may resume in long-term care homes. We are pleased that our residents will soon be able to meet face to face with loved ones, but we are also very aware that allowing visitors will increase risk to everyone.
Over the next week we will be working with the Office of the Medical Health Officer to put plans in place for visits by loved ones while limiting these risks. Visits will not be allowed until plans are finalized and approved. Once we are open for visits we will post a message on our website.
While we plan, we ask that you do the same and discuss amongst your family members who the one designated visitor will be.
Thank you for your patience during the pandemic as well as the incredible amount of support we have received from so many of you. Your words of praise and encouragement have helped all of us through physically, psychologically and emotionally difficult times.
Visitor access restrictions:
At this time visitation is restricted to compassionate visits (end of life).
